I am so excited to have been accepted for the Bob Brown Foundation Art for Takayna Residency.

This annual event invites artists to spend time in remote parts of Takayna, taking inspiration from the breathtaking landscapes and unique ecosystems to inform their work. Resulting artworks are exhibited in an annual exhibition where a percentage of sales is directed to the ongoing campaign to protect Takayna.

Exhibition of works responding to the residency will be in Nipaluna/Hobart in June 2026
selected works will be exhibited at a later date in Naarm/Melbouner (more info soon…soon)

Takayna is remote, cold, wild and incredibly special.
Some of the camps are remote and require special gear for preparation, the acquisition of gear for this residency will assist my ongoing commitment to the preservation of the Takayna.
