Join Artist in Residence Lada Dedić in creating a one-of-a-kind collaborative artwork that celebrates community, creativity and place.
Across a series of drop-in sessions held at different locations, participants are invited to contribute to a large-scale abstract map in collaboration with the artist.
Each participant will embellish a small 10 x 10 cm section of the map using a selection of materials and their own creative expression. These individual pieces will then be brought together to form a vibrant, collective artwork that reflects the diversity and identity of our community.
No experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and creativity. This is a relaxed, drop-in activity and everyone is welcome to take part.
The final artwork will be exhibited at Hurstville Museum & Gallery as part of a special closing event on Saturday 29th August, where Lada Dedić will share insights into her process. Participants will also have the opportunity to take home a small section of the completed artwork as a memento of their contribution.
